So with temperatures below zero it was cold cycling to work today. But set against frosted ground, a frozen canal and pink sunrise sky, the plumes of smoke rising up from the sprawling industrial estate were strangely beautiful this morning.

Already planning my visit to London Design Festival again this September and whilst looking at their website I came across the London Design Festival blog. Some really interesting articles on there. It’s always great to find a new design blog to follow.

I found a lomo film from over a year ago that I haven’t developed. I can’t remember what’s on there, if anything at all, but I’m intrigued to find out. For me there’s still that sense of magic about film, of not knowing quite what to expect.

It’s been a busy start to the year. In the first week of January I moved house, set up an exhibition at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield (it’s on till 6th February so check it out if you’re over that way) and started a new job. I have been working on my website which should be online soon and am developing a new product range. It feels so good to be making again. Watch...
