Studio Visits With Artists and Designers
I have been thinking a lot about working space recently and why it’s important. Or how you make work, how do you get into the right head-space for it? And how does it work being an artist? What makes you an artist? When do you define yourself as an artist?
Sometimes I find going to open studio events more interesting than going to exhibitions in galleries. I think ideas and works in progress are fascinating. Anyway, I found this website today, and thought it was great. Photographs and interviews of artists and their working spaces, with their thoughts on the realities of being an artist.
