Nomad by Swiss architects 1/100.
A series of five wooden cabins which are installed at Quai Branly Museum in Paris this summer.
Temporary, fleeting structures become a central hub and create a festival atmosphere in the gardens of the museum. Each caravan has a different use and promotes interactions in the city and at the museum. There is a stage, a sound system, an ice cream stand, a space for children and an information cabin.
Perhaps the caravans and informal atmosphere they create helps to give visitors to the museum a different experience or encourages more people to visit.
